CLEMSON — As No. 25 Clemson gets set for its home opener against App. State Saturday at Memorial Stadium, wide receiver Tyler Brown expressed the Tigers are not panicking after their loss to top-ranked Georgia last week.

Earlier this week, Brown spoke to the media about last week’s loss to the Bulldogs, the performance of the offense and previewed Saturday’s game against the Mountaineers (8 p.m., ACCN).

–Brown explained that he is not worried about the touches after not having any targets in the first half, “As we progress as an offense, more touches will be given to each and every player.”

–After being asked about whether or not he was frustrated with the lack of touches in last Saturday’s game. Brown doubled down on how unbothered he was saying, “Touches aren’t really a big thing for me.”

–The Tigers, who were unable to score a touchdown against Georgia, are looking forward to Saturday’s matchup. Brown spoke on tightening up certain aspects of their game with App State. “We just got to execute a little better on the offensive side.”

–Brown continued to voice his enthusiasm for the upcoming season opener saying, “We’re looking to move past that so that we can change our tomorrow.” He described the impact that togetherness has on the Tigers’ offense and how beneficial it is to their overall growth.
