    I NEVER have had that problem. I can keep a loaf (using it here and there) of 100% Whole Wheat bread in my refrigerator for 2 1/2 weeks EASY and I've never had any problems. Usually, the bread will not be there that long, because I get ample use out of it, BUT (the point is), it STAYS just fine. If you WANT your bread to mold, then stick it in a bread box in your counter. I GUARANTEE it won't keep fresh like mine does for that long.
