Caitlin Clark is taking the blame for a "killer" mistake late in the Indiana Fever's loss to the Minnesota Lynx on Friday.

Though she scored 25 points to go along with eight rebounds and eight assists, Clark also committed a turnover midway through the fourth quarter after the Fever had trimmed the Lynx lead to one point.

Clark shared a five-word criticism of her play after the game, saying she "made a really bad read" on the pass and sank her team's hopes of pulling back into the game.

“Honestly, I thought we played really good in the fourth," Clark said after the game, via reporter Matthew Byrne on X . "My turnover in transition is what I felt like really kinda ended the momentum for us.”

The Lynx went on to win 99-88, snapping the Fever's five-game winning streak. The Fever have already clinched a playoff berth, the team's first since 2016.

Clark set the team's single-season 3-point record in Friday's loss with 103. She remains the frontrunner to win WNBA Rookie of the Year.
