Multiple Recruiting Targets Set to Be on Hand for Clemson-App State

Clemson is set to host App State on Saturday in its home-opener, and with that comes a number of recruits set to visit.

Multiple names on the guest list will have seen the Tigers in consecutive weeks, as several recruits that are scheduled to visit on Saturday were also guests of Clemson for the Georgia game last weekend.

Here are the names that TCI has confirmed will be on hand.

• 4-star DL Bryce Perry-Wright
• 4-star RB Jaylen McGill
• 4-star OL Carter Scruggs
• 4-star OL Malcolm Gaston
• 4-star OL Adam Guthrie
• 4-star OL Bear McWhorter
• 3-star OL Braden Wilmes
• 3-star ATH Brayden Rouse
• 2027 QB Mason Holtzclaw
• 2027 LB Max Brown
• 2027 OL Carter Jones

Perry-Wright, Holtzclaw and Brown are some of the recruits that were in Atlanta for the Tigers’ 34-3 season-opening loss to No. 1 Georgia.

It’s also worth noting that running backs coach CJ Spiller was on hand at Mountain View Prep for McGill’s game last night. He scored four touchdowns in a 48-21 win.

Brad Brownell will also host Top 100 shooting guard Zac Foster on an official visit this weekend. It will be Foster’s first trip to campus.
