    A$AP Rocky f. J. Cole — “Ruby Rosary”

A$AP Rocky has reportedly been working on his new album for 6 years. But now, it seems like the release date is approaching. He’s said the LP is titled Don’t Be Dumb and it’s due in the fall. And before he releases the full thing, he teases fans with “Ruby Rosary,” a new single featuring J. Cole.

Over The Alchemist production, Rocky kicks things off with a challenge to your Top 5. “Who in your Top 5? / Ha! F-ck your Top 5,” he raps. “I don’t get fresh to death, I’m buried alive / I heard dawg talkin’ funny like it’s Family Guy.”

Soon, J. Cole steps in for his verse. “Connected to God, I’m a vessel / When they ask for the old you, ignore ’em / Goin’ backwards is borin’ / And I’m not Michael Jordan / I don’t do the retro / Tell ‘em again like an echo.”

Rocky’s been plotting his new album for years, but he’s faced several delays. ‘LEAKS & SAMPLE CLEARANCES ARE DISRUPTING THE ALBUM,” he recently tweeted. “IT’S BEEN 6 YEARS & I WANNA MAKE THE BEST ALBUM EVER. IM SORRY FOR THE WAIT.”

LL Cool J — The FORCE

Don’t call it a comeback. Eleven years after dropping The Authentic , LL Cool J returns with The FORCE . A Tribe Called Quest’s Q-Tip produced the entire album, marking a legendary musical connection for the duo.

But LL Cool J and Q-Tip aren’t the only big names associated with the album. In fact, Eminem and Saweetie appeared in two of the project’s singles. And elsewhere, Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross, Fat Joe, Busta Rhymes, Nas, and more also lend their voices to the project.

LL, who began his career with 1985’s Radio , says this album is important because it shows what an MC can do as he matures within the game. “Hip-Hop hasn’t really its Santana moment,” he recently told The Shop . “We’re so used to things coming and going that we don’t even understand the idea of an artist being out for 30-40 years and making great sh-t. We don’t even think in those terms.

He added: “But I believe you can make an artistic contribution throughout your career. You actually have to step up and do it. That’s why I’m making this; I love the challenge…Q-Tip did my whole album. It’s fun because it’s a challenge.”

Megan Thee Stallion f. RM of BTS — “Neva Play”

Megan Thee Stallion isn’t playing around. Shortly after releasing her newest album, Megan , the Texas rapper teams up with RM from BTS for a new global collaboration.

Meg jumps off with the first verse. “I can’t help that I’m that girl / They be talkin’, I don’t care,” she raps on the track. “Beefin’ with yourself because you do not exist in my world / Three things that I don’t play about: myself, my money or my man / Mention one of them and best believe I’m gon’ be at yo’ head.”

RM also comes through with the second verse. “You know that we never play / Yeah, we gon’ forever slay,” he raps. “Me and Megan on the way / For Asia, man, we paved the way.”

Warren Fu and Carl Jones directed the song’s music video. Megan plays a game of pinball in the colorful and vibrant clip and soon, animated versions of herself and RM pop up as part of the game.

Central Cee f. Raye — “MOI”

Central Cee keeps creating. After recent collaborations with Asake, Ice Spice, and more, the United Kingdom MC teams up with fellow British star Raye for his latest single, “MOI.”

Raye handles the vocals in an evocative intro. “Paris is the City of Love, they say, but not for him and I,” she sings before launching in and out French in a dramatic, vocally impressive opening.

Cee takes over from there. “Gotta get rich in desperate cause / Talk about drill, gotta mention moi,” Cee raps in a nod to the song title. “I value my life, I can’t die this young / There’s so much fun that I’m yet to have / I’ve got a thing for India Love / There’s so much gyal that I’m yet to bang.”

Raye appears in the song’s music video too. She kicks things off with an elegant throwback performance in an old school lounge. Next, Cee joins his friends in front of expensive cars, luxury stores, and on bikes. He signs autographs and takes pictures with fans, all while rapping along to his latest release.

    Pharrell — “Piece by Piece”
