After a long day of being man's best friend, dogs deserve a good night's sleep. Having a sold routine to ease them into a slumber ensures they'll have the sweetest dreams. For one doggy crew—Sandy, Skye, Chase and Holly—the bedtime ritual is everything because it involves their favorite humans.

In the recent TikTok clip posted by @threegoldiesonepyr, the four pups wait for Mom's signal to retire to bed and it's the most adorable sight. This is guaranteed to make you smile.

"Every night, my four dogs wait for me to go to bed, and then on the steps until I catch up," the video begins as it shows three of the pups going upstairs. One Golden, Holly, helps out and carries up "her dad's knee pillow," while the Pyrenees only follows once they're all "safe."

"To be loved by a dog, the best thing in the world," the caption says, and hundreds of people following the pups' lives agree.

"So sweet. Carrying the knee pillow! Dogs are so part of the family," one person wrote. "Such a sweet bedtime routine," another added. "They are the sweetest crew," another wrote.

This whole scene is another reason we don't deserve dogs!

    A Dog's Sleep Routine

Like babies, dogs feel their best when they're on a consistent schedule, including sleep. Though breed, age, health, and energy levels can dictate sleep patterns and needs, The American Kennel Clubs suggests creating a bedtime routine based on how often they need to relieve themselves. If your dog is waking in the night to go potty, the site says to consider adjusting their last mealtime to an earlier time so they'll be less likely to wake through the night.

Dogs are resilient, however, and if their schedule needs to change for whatever reason, it doesn't take long to get them back on track. Just be sure to take into consideration any health changes that trigger their need to relieve themselves, such as diabetes or hyperthyroidism, or if you've just adopted the pup, as they need time to adjust to their new life. Puppies should also be treated with care since they can only wait about 5-6 hours before needing to go out.

Once you have their pee pattern and last meal time down, be consistent with the how and when bedtime happens . After a couple of weeks, they'll come to anticipate bedtime just like the smart crew in the clip, and maybe even alert you that's it time for bed so you can all rest together, knee pillow and all!
