Kevin Kelly’s Cold Comment About Melanie Pillman Resurfaces

Kevin Kelly has been in the news over the last few days after it was announced that he and The Boys were suing AEW due to being let go earlier this year. Subsequently, this has led to fans looking into the commentator’s past to learn more about him, and in the process, @IANdrewDiceClay has uncovered an old podcast interview where he discusses WWE in the ’90s and the topic of Melanie Pillman’s infamous interview is discussed. Yet, while most people have always been sympathetic towards Brian Pillman’s widow, in the clip shared on X, Kelly would bluntly say, “ Your husband is dead. Go get a job. ”

Melanie Pillman, who herself died two years ago, was involved with the Ultimate Warrior at one point in time but would later begin dating Pillman, leading to them marrying in March 1993. From there, they would go on to have two children together, Brian Zachary and Skylar King, who added to the four daughters they’d had in previous relationships. However, it is believed that their marriage was on borrowed time because following Pillman’s tragic passing in October 1997, it came out they shared a home but had begun sleeping separately.
