WATCH: Jerrick Gibson Scores to Extend Texas' Lead

Texas' run game has been firing on all cylinders early in this game, and freshman running back Jerrick Gibson scored his second touchdown of the season to extend the Longhorns' lead to 14-3.

Gibson now has three carries for 20 yards and a score in the game, while backfield mate Quintrevion Wisner has four carries for 23 yards. Jaydon Blue left the game with an apparent injury earlier on, so Gibson's production becomes all the more critical in this matchup.

The Michigan Wolverines have struggled to contain Texas' rushing attack. Head coach Steve Sarkisian has done a masterful job of mixing in misdirection and varied run schemes to keep the defense on its toes all afternoon.
