General Hospital: Michael Conflicted Heart – Sasha, Willow, and the Fallout of a Shocking Discover

According to General Hospital (GH), Michael may be smitten with his wife, Willow, right now, but as the dust settles, he won't be able to stomach what he witnessed.

Walking to the gatehouse, Michael didn't expect to see his father clutching a revolver and FBI Special Agent John bleeding out on the deck.

The stress of having this picture in his thoughts may force him to seek out someone — anybody — to confide in. Will that pleasant ear belong to Sasha?

If that's the case, will their shared secret exacerbate the schism that exists between him and Willow?

Before Sasha accepted the position of chef at the Q household, Michael wanted to make sure she was okay with the two of them seeing each other so frequently.

Many viewers were taken aback by this, lamenting the lack of attention on these two as a relationship or any residual traces of discomfort between them in years.

After all, Sasha has gone through a lot in the years since her relationship with Michael ended — although grudgingly and on her own terms. Why would she feel uncomfortable being with him now that they have stayed friends?

Perhaps the chat was part of a larger plot that was yet to unfold, in which Michael and Sasha became more comfortable with one other — even if they weren't uncomfortable to begin with.

Michael and Sasha would inevitably cross paths while residing at the Quartermaine house. They may have stayed friends all this time, but they didn't see one other every day.

Keep Willow in the Dark?

Sasha wasn't feeding Michael while his wife was acting like a frantic housewife. Now, things have changed.

Sasha is every bit the solid and honest woman Michael needed years ago, and Willow is beginning to resemble someone we scarcely remember. How long before he feels the same way?

Willow's absence and Sasha's presence as a friendly face to listen to his concerns may bring these two closer together.

Now we have to worry if they'll become close enough for Michael to tell her about his father killing Cates, rather than his wife, who deserves to know the truth no matter what she's done.

In terms of Willow's activities, we don't expect her to be more present in the coming weeks than she has been in the past.

Drew may be elected to Congress sooner than predicted, which means he will leave Willow in Port Chuck and travel south to Washington, D.C.

A few months ago, she would have welcomed the distance. Now, it may bother her enough that she seeks out excuses to spend more time with him or even travel to visit him.

Can Sasha maintain Michael's openness while keeping the truth about Willow's liplock with Drew to herself — or will it all come out?
