Ben Affleck enjoyed lunch with his kids Samuel and Seraphina in Los Angeles on Friday ahead of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) premiere of his production company’s new film, “Unstoppable.”
The “Good Will Hunting” actor was seen getting some fresh air in a casual outfit which consisted of dark gray jeans and a plain white T-shirt paired with Nike sneakers. He also displayed his typical stern-looking face .
His youngest, 12-year-old Samuel, wore an even more relaxed outfit, opting for blue plaid pajama bottoms and a gray and blue Yale T-shirt.
The actor’s middle child, Seraphina, wore a funky ensemble of beige cargo shorts with a blue crewneck sweater emblazoned with the words “FARM CAMP.” Seraphina completed the look with mismatched socks, black sneakers and a black crossbody bag.
Despite being a co-producer on “Unstoppable” with his longtime best friend Matt Damon, Page Six confirmed Affleck would not attend Friday’s premiere at TIFF amid his ongoing divorce from Lopez.
Lopez, 55, has a supporting role in the film and dazzled on the TIFF red carpet Friday night in a sparkling silver Tamara Ralph dress that featured a bold slit running up both sides.
While her comment may be taken as a dig at Affleck, 52, the “Dance Again” singer was possibly making a self-deprecating joke because she has been engaged a total of six times and married four times.
Sources close to the singer told Page Six after her filing that she tried everything she could to save her and Affleck’s crumbling marriage, but her efforts were wasted because Affleck didn’t believe in the “big love” she did .
“Ben has a darkness to him that no other person can fix,” one insider added. “[His actress ex-wife] Jen Garner couldn’t fix it, all the success in the world couldn’t fix it.”
