I have not allowed phones in my class for 15 years. I have an average of 50 students in my classroom and it was the best decision I ever made. The students are more engaged, I don’t have to constantly repeat myself and have more time to focus on individual students. The students come from school all over the county and develop life long relationships with each other because they actually talk to each other.
