The Pittsburgh Steelers are ready to make an entrance, so back on up, because you know their about to rip stuff up.

    Or something like that.

On Sunday morning, on the dawn of the opening of the regular season, the Steelers released an epic Week 1 hype video featuring the legendary Snoop Dogg.

The video includes plenty of what they described as “angry man football.” This whole team is, by reputation, physical, hard-hitting, and as smash mouth as any team in the league.

The Steelers prepare to take on the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. So in addition to hype and physicality ... The biggest question of the day is who will be Pittsburgh’s starting quarterback?

Russell Wilson has once again injured his calf, and Justin Fields is 100 percent healthy. If Wilson says he can play, coach Mike Tomlin may start him. But calf injuries are no joke.

What has made Wilson so effective over his career is his ability to move in the pocket and become an improviser out of it. With a strained calf, that takes away all of those things and the risk of the injury getting worse is much higher.

Fields is healthy and ready to take the reins when Tomlin calls his name.

We will find out near game time who is going to be the starter. The game is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET. ... with the hope that the hype is justified.
