Former NFL legend and NBC broadcaster Drew Brees wants a second chance! The former QB for the New Orleans Saints once again stated that he would love to receive another opportunity to broadcast. Drew is quite confident that things would go differently this time around.

“I think I could be the absolute best at it, if given the opportunity,” Brees said. “I valued my time at NBC so much, for that year after I played, I spent most of that time in-studio on Sunday Night Football, having to work with some incredible people,” Drew said on an appearance on the Front Office Sports Today podcast this week.

Known for his 20-year NFL career, which was spent mostly with the New Orleans Saints. After he retired from playing football, and moved to San Diego with his family, he did serve in several roles for NBC. He became an analyst on ''Football Night in America'' and was calling Notre Dame football games.

Hopefully, Drew will get his wish and be back in the booth like his friend Tom Brady who takes over as the top analyst on Fox Sports' number one NFL Sunday night team. Wouldn't it be great to see both these icons at 'Super Bowl 2025,' which will take place in New Orleans, calling a game together?

He had a very difficult time the first time. It's okay to give him a second chance, as he knows the game well and he may be better now that he's been away for a while.
