    NFL announces Kendrick Lamar as Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show headline performer

    On Sunday, the NFL announced Kendrick Lamar will be the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show performer. The game is scheduled to be played on February 9, 2025, at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

    Along with the NFL’s announcement, Lamar released a video imploring fans to prepare for the show. Although Super Bowl LIX will be Lamar’s first time as the headline performer of a Super Bowl Halftime Show, it won’t be his first time gracing the stage.

    He also performed at Super Bowl LVI, along with fellow rap legends Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem and Mary J. Blige. In his limited time in the spotlight, he performed his hit songs m.A.A.d city and Alright . Now, Lamar will have a chance to put together an entire show for his countless fans.

    The two pop-culture icons traded diss tracks, with Kendrick Lamar releasing songs such as euphoria , meet the grahams and Not Like Us , which instantly soared to the top of the charts. Lamar’s performance at Super Bowl LIX will just be another bullet point on his illustrious résumé.
