Vikings head coach shows off his humorous side during interview with Barstool Sports

Head coach Kevin O'Connell will look to get the Minnesota Vikings off to a strong start when they battle the New York Giants on Sunday afternoon but if the coaching thing doesn't work out, he might have a future in media.

O'Connell showed off his humorous side by appearing as a guest on "Sundae Conversation" with Caleb Pressley of Barstool Sports .

The interview, which is a parody, approaches a wide range of topics including his use of coach speak.

"It doesn't really mean anything," O'Connell said. "I'm used to answering questions that I maybe don't necessarily want to cover, but I still answer them anyway."

O'Connell was also asked one of the biggest questions on the minds of Vikings fans – what time does the bar open?

"I do not know," O'Connell admitted. "...When you get an opportunity to enjoy yourself around here, it's the best part of Minnesota. They're great people."

After being introduced to the term "Purple People Drinkers," O'Connell answered a question from a young fan who asked if he really loved people in Minnesota or if he was there for the money and women.

"I'm good there," O'Connell replied.

The rest of the interview dove into a story about Kevin O'Connell "choking [on] his chicken [sandwich] in front of Brandon Staley", his not-so-latin heritage, the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders and why he likes playing games on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
