The Miami Dolphins kick off their season-opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Miami took home the victory with an impressive 20-17 victory.

However, superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill was involved in an arrest on Sunday morning on his way to Hard Rock Stadium. Miami-Dade police handcuffed Hill and detained him before eventually releasing him to play against the Jaguars.

The star receiver has looked phenomenal despite the early morning drama. He's racked up well over 100 yards and a touchdown to keep the game close. But Hill turned heads with his unique touchdown celebration on Sunday.

After scoring an 80 yard touchdown, Hill ran to the crowd and put his hands behind his back . Teammate Jaylen Waddle grabbed Hill's hands and pretended to be a cop arresting Hill. Watch the touchdown celebration for yourself down below!

Hill took a not-so-subtle shot at the Miami-Dade police department with that celebration. However, NFL fans are absolutely loving it. Although it's not clear exactly what led to Sunday morning's arrest, fans seem to be on Hill's side.

"He goated for that," said one fan .

Another fan claimed , "This guy is a savage."

"Tyreek owns Miami-Dade County," proclaimed this fan .

This fan jokes Hill might want to consider being detained more often, stating, "Maybe the secret is to get detained before every game!"

"We all knew that one was coming," said this fan with laughing emojis.

The Dolphins ultimately took home the win after beating the Jaguars 20-17. Hill proved to be the difference-maker finishing with seven receptions for 130 yards and one touchdown. The other touchdown Miami scored on the day came from running back De'Von Achane who finished with 88 total yards of scrimmage and a rushing touchdown.

Miami-Dade police shared a statement on the Sunday morning arrest. Director Stephanie V. Daniels claims she is looking over details and available body camera footage to determine what led to the incident involving the Dolphins' star.

Despite the hiccup on Sunday morning, the 30-year old wide receiver didn't seem to let the arrest disrupt his play on the field. More information regarding the arrest will eventually come to light. Until then, Hill may provide information himself now that the Dolphins' season-opener is concluded.
