Prince Harry is in contact with the Royal Family
1 days ago
According to reports, Prince Harry remains in close contact with his mother's family even though he has become distant from several members of the British royal family, including his father, King Charles, and brother, Prince William.
He was reportedly seen at the funeral of Lord Robert and is thought to have "secretly" stayed at Princess Diana's childhood home, Althorp House, with his uncle Charles Spencer.
The Duke of Sussex is said to have had positive relations with Princess Beatrice, his paternal cousin, besides his maternal family. Beatrice has allegedly "spoken to the two brothers to try to improve the situation," according to a former palace employee who hinted that Beatrice might be able to help resolve the ongoing conflict between Harry and William.
Prince Harry is still in contact with some of his family members despite his ongoing rift with Prince William, King Charles, and some other royals.
The Duke of Sussex recently flew to the UK to attend his uncle's memorial service, Lord Robert Fellowes, who died on July 29. During that time, Prince Harry is said to have stayed at Althorp House, the ancestral home that his mother, Diana, grew up in, with his uncle, Charles Spencer. Following her shocking death in 1997, she was laid to rest on an island within the Round Oval Lake at Althorp House.
Former BBC Royal Correspondent Jennie Bond explained what his stay with the Spencer family means: "Earl Spencer said simply, 'Diana is home,' when the hearse's gates closed behind Diana's coffin as it arrived at Althorp. And he has honored his pledge that her blood family would allow William and Harry to experience as many different aspects of life as possible and to let their souls sing openly as she had planned.”
Prince Harry will not return to royal duties without an apology from Prince William.
Prince Harry would accept an apology from his brother Prince William before accepting a "temporary role" supporting the Royal Family, should King Charles so request. According to people close to the Duke, he is happy with his decision to leave the royal life behind and is intent on "making a success of his life" in the United States.
Friends of Harry claim that he is conscious of his brother's sentiments on the subject following the news that Prince William implied there was "zero chance" that Harry would be accepted back into the group following the publication of his shocking memoir, Spare.
