Taiwan's EVA Air is planning to expand its U.S. operations, eyeing three new nonstop routes from Taipei to Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), and Dulles International Airport (IAD) near Washington, D.C. This expansion would bring EVA's total U.S. routes to nine.

Currently, EVA Air operates flights to six U.S. cities: Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago, and New York City. The airline is also retrofitting its fleet, and some of its existing or new U.S. routes could soon be served by the Airbus A350-1000, which boasts a range of over 8,000 nautical miles—ideal for long-haul flights to the U.S. East Coast.

EVA’s fleet expansion and potential new gateways reflect its commitment to growing its presence in the U.S. market and enhancing connectivity between Taipei and major American cities.
