Few wide receivers in the NFL this year are entering under more pressure than Buffalo Bills second-round rookie Keon Coleman.

Fair or not, Coleman is competing to help Bills fans forget about All-Pro Stefon Diggs who was traded during the offseason to Houston for a 2025 second-round pick.

In his first start, the Florida State second-round pick showed he appears ready and prepared for that kind of pressure.

Coleman made four catches for 51 yards in Buffalo's first game of the year on Sunday afternoon in a 34-28 victory over the Arizona Cardinals. He was targeted a team-high five times and consistently showed he can be the kind of every-down player that the Bills hoped for when they drafted him in Apirl.

“He’s going to be an exciting player for us,” Josh Allen saidbefore the game of Coleman. “He’s got a different skill set than maybe what I’m used to. I don’t know if I’ve had the type of skill set that he brings to the table as an option before. His ability to go jump and catch back shoulder balls, be strong at the point of the catch. He takes blocking in the run game with a lot of pride.”

It's still an early start to his career, hut the Bills have gotten everything they could hope for so far from Coleman.
