‘Thank You Erin Burnett!’ Trump Showers Praise On CNN Segment Claiming ‘Even They’ Say Harris ‘Is a Phony!’

Republican nominee Donald Trump on Sunday shared a clip on social media highlighting a CNN segment from last week in which anchor Erin Burnett discussed a K-File report on the evolving border wall position of Vice President Kamala Harris.

In a post on his Truth Social app, Trump offered rare praise and gratitude to CNN for a segment that reported on Harris having previously and repeatedly condemned the border wall before seeming to embrace the concept as part of her presidential campaign.

The subject of Harris’s changing views has come up a number of times since she took over as nominee from President Joe Biden, with liberal Sen. Bernie Sanders on Sunday reassuring progressives in a Sunday interview that her shift toward the center is just a ploy to win.

With his social media gratitude, Trump shared a video of Sky News covering the CNN report from Burnett and Andrew Kaczynski.

“Thank you to Erin Burnett and CNN,” Trump raved. “Even they say Comrade Kamala Harris is a Phony!”

In other social media posts over the weekend, Trump amplified more “stolen election” claims, and offered a chilling vow to impose long-term prison sentences on those he has and will continue to claim “cheated” in that election, all evidence to the contrary.
