Angel Reese Breaks Silence on Rumors About Her Love Life

Angel Reese has firmly established herself as one of the top players in the WNBA today. The fact that the Chicago Sky forward was named an All-Star in her rookie year is an undeniable testament to this fact.

At this point, the 22-year-old has also become one of the most eligible bachelorettes in the world of sports. During an Instagram Live session on Sunday, September 8, the former LSU superstar confirmed that she is, indeed, still single -- a fact that will have more than a few of her male fans out there swooning.

“I’m not nobody’s girlfriend," she said. "I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

Reese was referencing the rampant rumors about her romantic life after some internet detectives surmised that the Sky star is dating Detroit Pistons big man Jalen Duren. The two recently shared similar vacation photos on their respective social media accounts, which led fans to believe that they were together during the offseason.

Well, Reese has now come out to officially squash those rumors by saying outright that she's "nobody's girlfriend."

Then again, this does not necessarily mean that she isn't going out with Duren -- or anybody else, for that matter. Her revelation here merely confirms that she's not officially in a relationship at the moment.

Whatever the case might be, Reese will now find herself with a lot more downtime than anticipated. This is after the 6-foot-3 forward suffered a season-ending wrist injury during Chicago's 92-78 win over the Los Angeles Sparks on Friday, September 6.

Reese also revealed that she is set to undergo surgery on Tuesday, September 10. At this point, the general expectation is that she will be ready to go for the start of next season.
