The Job Center of Lake County in conjunction with Illinois State Senator Mary Edly-Allen and Illinois State Representative Joyce Mason is holding the Lake County Job Fair on Tuesday, September 10 from 10 AM to 1 PM CST at the Zion Park District Leisure Center.

This job fair is free to attend. Veterans will be given first priority during the first thirty minutes of this career fair.

Plenty of representatives from different companies will be in attendance at this job fair. Although this job fair does not list the businesses that will be there on Tuesday, many representatives will be there because the event is requesting that you bring plenty of resumes.

Also, the event lists a website where you can go to at lakecountyjobcenter.com in order to receive some help on creating a resume. However, going to lakecountyjobcenter.com will give you an error message. The website that you will need to go to in order to receive some resume tips is this site from the Job Center of Lake County.

Before you go to this job fair on Tuesday, you will need to fill out this registration form provided by the Job Center of Lake County. You will have to list the normal information like your name, your email address, and your current place of residence. This form will also ask you what type of job you are looking for along with how you heard about this job fair. This form is also in Spanish because some companies need workers that are bilingual.

The Zion Park District Leisure Center is located at 2400 Dowie Memorial Drive in Zion. Be careful when you go because crime rates in Zion have been above the state and the national average over the past few years.
