Most states don't have large capacity mental health hospitals and if they do they are usually only located in those states main cities which forces people to have to travel hours to get treatment. If they want more access than states need to build more mental health hospitals creating more opportunities to get treatment, which allows patients to stay close to family and friends, and not just in the major cities.
