Circa’s October Expansion Adds 106 Rooms and Suites

Circa Resort & Casino will begin adding 106 rooms and suites, a 20% increase to its inventory, to its tower in downtown Las Vegas in late October.

The resort is the first new downtown Las Vegas hotel to open in over 40 years. After the expansion, the 35-story, sports-themed property will have 618 rooms.

When Circa opened during the pandemic in 2020, it purposefully left four floors in the middle as shells until its owners could better understand its customer demands.

The additions - four Sunset Suites and 102 single-king rooms - will be rolled out floor by floor every two weeks, bringing the resort’s room inventory to 618.

When you develop a new product, you don’t know exactly how it will work or run. We focused on X number of suites, X percentage of rooms with two beds, and X percentage of hospitality rooms. We took our best guesses without having significant data. We knew we were very understated at our sister property, The D, so we said we should get more suites at this higher-end property. -Derek Stevens, Circa's CEO

Vegas is a culinary destination. Knowing that customers want or demand a refrigerator and many travelers bring medication that needs refrigeration, Circa planned for every room to have refrigeration.

Every bed in the rooms is a king-size bed. A quarter of the rooms are flexible and can quickly transition from a room with one king and a couch to a room with two kings.

Circa has an over-21 policy. Every visitor is ID’ed as they enter, allowing the property to focus on serving its customers and saving time for everyone involved. Cocktailers don’t have to add extra effort since they know ahead of time that their guest is of legal drinking age.

Circa offers Stadium Swim, a pool deck with amphitheatre-style lounging terraces. A 143-foot video display is in full view. On the property is the world’s largest Sportsbook. The three-story Sportsbook features a 78 million-pixel video display divided into 42 screens with a 1,000-person viewing capacity.
