2 hospitalized in Sylvania Township shooting

Two people have been hospitalized after an early morning shooting Monday in Sylvania Township, according to police.

Officers were dispatched at 12:56 a.m. to the 4500 block of Crossfields Road on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located two victims, who have not been identified, with gunshot wounds.

The victims were transported to a nearby hospital and their condition is not currently known as of Monday morning.

A suspect has not been identified.

The shooting remains under investigation.
