Even though Lisa Hochstein was devastated by her divorce from Lenny Hochstein , it seems she found her knight in shining armor after all. After 13  years of marriage, the plastic surgeon decided he wanted to trade Lisa in for a younger model. The mother of two was devastated as the split played out on the Real Housewives of Miami . Between fighting to stay in her Star Island mansion and ensuring she kept the life she had been accustomed to, Lisa was on the brink of losing it all. Luckily, a Canadian angel, Jody Glidden , swooped down from the skies to save her just in time.

In February 2023, after months of speculation, Lisa finally made her budding relationship official to fans and admitted she was dating Jody; the fellow Canadian is a tech entrepreneur and seemed to fall head over heels for the Bravo star. While speaking to ET , Lisa opened up and said, “I want to be happy again. Not that I’m so sad. I have, like, bits and pieces of happiness. It goes in waves, but ultimately, I want to be in a long-term relationship. I would love to get married again.” Bravo viewers could easily see how taken Lisa was with Jody as he seemed to care for her every need.

The former model revealed, “I just want to be standing on my own two feet, look back at this, and not be angry about it. I guess it’s sort of out of the bag. Yeah, I’m dating. I’m dating this guy. He’s a great guy. He’s been super supportive of me… you may or may not see him at the reunion, but I don’t wanna dive into that too much. We’ll just see how that unfolds.”

During the premiere of Season 6, fans finally met the new man in Lisa’s life. Not only was he handsome, but he also lived in Adriana de Moura’s old home. During Episode 2, Adriana lamented, “10 years later, Lisa’s new man lives in my old house. I lived in the house for ten years with my husband Frederic Marq and my son Alex, and those were a beautiful, happy ten years of our lives.” It was clear that Lisa was also hoping for good luck to rub off on her.

During the episode, Jody was kind enough to invite Adriana back to her old home for a tour. Lisa told Jody, “This must be exciting for Adriana to see what you’ve done with the place.” And in fact, Adriana did love Jody’s expensive taste, as she pointed out, “I love what I see already. I can’t even recognize the place, wow. So, you changed everything. You changed the flooring.” In another episode, Lisa and Jody had a double date with Marcus Jordan and Larsa Pippen . The couple hit it off, and even fans gravitated to Jody’s calm demeanor.

New Year, new living situation

After moving out of her shared home with Lenny in 2023, Lisa enjoyed getting settled into her new abode. The Miami Beach condo was a girl’s dream, complete with luxury finishings and a vanity. But fans were curious about her living arrangement with Jody. Lisa revealed where the couple stood on a January 10th Watch What Happens Live episode. Lisa shared that “he still has a home. He still has an amazing, beautiful waterfront house, but he stays with me, and he pays for, well, almost half my rent. Because he’s a very nice, generous guy.” After a hush came from the crowd, Lisa said, “Not that I need it, but he volunteered to.”

After Bravo published a story about Jody paying for everything, he jumped to Lisa’s defense. Jody wrote, “I know that probably sounds crazy for most of America. When I was growing up in Canada, you could BUY a house for that monthly rental price. Lisa looked at over 30 places and was about to choose a place over 30 minutes south of her kids’ dad’s and my place (kind of neighbors) and 60 minutes away from their school. I intervened. I don’t want to be in the car all the time or have them in the car all day long. And it’s temporary since she’s supposed to have a house coming.”

While standing next to Jody on a Miami rooftop, Lisa posed with her beau, sporting contrasting outfits. Lisa was dolled up in her Instagram post as Jody came across as quite the Casanova. Lisa wrote, “Two years of love, laughter, and a whole lot of moonlit memories. Here’s to the next chapter in our story.” Jody wasted no time taking to the comment section to write the sweetest love message back. The techie wrote, “Who would’ve thought that two people on the rebound would make it through such a wild journey and now, two years later, be blending families? Life is full of surprises!”

The couple has had quite the rollercoaster journey, as Season 6 showed just how much Jody had become a shoulder to cry on. The rest of the Miami hotties were worried about their friend putting too much pressure on Jody. But like a champ, he sailed through and proved he could be there to comfort Lisa when she needed him most.
