The expansion, centered around the concept of 'Skjól', which translates to 'shelter' or 'sanctuary', features a significant enlargement of the Turf House and the introduction of new ritual elements. Every aspect of the design has been meticulously crafted to reflect the raw beauty of the Icelandic landscape, drawing inspiration from ancient traditions while offering a contemporary sanctuary.

A key highlight is the addition of 'Ylur', a second sauna boasting Iceland’s largest single-pane glass window, providing guests with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean as they indulge in the warmth and steam. The ritual also incorporates 'Saft', a traditional elixir made with krækiber (crowberries), native berries that flourish in the lava fields, offering a taste of Iceland’s unique natural bounty.
