Owning Manhattan’s Chloe Tucker Caine on Drama With ‘Soulmate’ Jade Shenker

Owning Manhattan certainly didn’t lack drama. And Chloe Tucker Caine was often in the middle of it. Following an exciting first season, the former Broadway actress turned broker talks about her drama with “soulmate” and fellow agent Jade Shenker .

Reality fans were introduced to the ladies in the Netflix series that follows Ryan Serhant and his army of elite agents. Chloe quickly emerged as a breakout star on the show. She often found herself in most of the major drama during the season. Some of this was due to her clash with her friend Jade. And culminated with Jade eventually blocking Chloe on social media for “trolling her.”

Water under the bridge for Chloe Tucker Caine and Jade Shenker?

In case you forgot, the reason they first butted heads was because Jade shared that her husband had admitted to cheating on her with other women. She told Chloe that the two were basically just keeping up appearances.

Chloe was immediately upset when she found out her friend had kept the truth from her. She was even more upset when she discovered Jade had told other people about it first. Instead of commiserating with her friend, she pushed back. Jade was hurt that Chloe cared more about that than the breakdown of her marriage and both girls just let hurt feelings fester. This spilled over into their interactions both online and offline.

However, according to Chloe, all’s well now between her and her co-star.

She spoke to DECIDER and shared that despite their past, they were good and that they “love each other.”

“I feel like she’s probably my soulmate. And so it gets really intense sometimes,” she explained. “And feelings were very hurt when certain things happened.” She also admitted that, in hindsight, she should have been there for Jade as she dealt with the issues in her marriage.

“Looking back on it all, I think the biggest thing I realized is regardless of what I thought happened or if she was making something up or embellishing, it doesn’t matter,” Chloe shared. “The fact is that she was a friend of mine that was hurting and I should have been there for her as opposed to trying to play Detective Gadget and really understand the ins and outs. It wasn’t my business.”
