DeCamara: 'Jalen Hurts looks athletically diminished from earliest years'

Has Jalen Hurts lost his explosiveness as a runner? Joe DeCamara and Jon Ritchie debated this on Monday's 94WIP Morning Show.

DeCamara: "The biggest thing that really hit me on Hurts now watching him Week 1 in year five, he definitely to me looks athletically diminished from his earliest years. Which means because of that he's going to have to be a big passer in the passing game."

Ritchie: "This is unbelievable, you've got to stop."

DeCamara: "No I'm not going to stop. He does not have the same degree of athleticism."

Ritchie: "Let's wait for a couple of games before we make that judgment...I thought at times that was the case, but then I also thought he's protecting himself."

DeCamara: "He doesn't run as fast."

Hurts, 26, rushed 13 times for 33 yards in Friday's Week 1 win, but certainly continued to look like the 2023 version of himself, not he explosive 2022 version.
