Jeopardy! viewers were left with more questions than answers when the show shared a bizarre post in preparation for the new season.

Fans have been eagerly waiting for season 41 of Jeopardy! to hit our screens and the countdown is almost up, with the hit gameshow set to premiere the new season tonight . In celebration, the Jeopardy! Instagram account shared a look back over the past year.

"Before we ring in Season 41 of #Jeopardy!, let's take a loving look back at Season 40 and all the highlights!" they captioned the post. While many fans were loving reminiscing, some were confused by one aspect in particular - the list of winners .

On one slide was the heading: "Top 5 Players with Highest Winnings." The names followed in this order: Alison Betts, Isaac Hirsch, Adriana Harmeyer, Amy Hummel and Nam Nguyen.

Some fans were confused with the order of the players and took to Reddit to share their thoughts. "Isn't this graphic on the J Instagram wrong?" one user questioned. Another joked: "I can't read that at all. Worst. Text/background. Colors. Ever," while a third person replied: "That’s what’s wrong!"

Luckily, some fans were on hand with the answer. "They really needed to caption this better, but I THINK it’s highest single game winnings," one person explained.

They added: "Alison won a game with $35,800, Isaac had a game in the 34k range, one of Adriana’s wins was with 33k even. “highest winnings” reads at first to me as highest total winnings (which of course that would make this graphic completely wrong, first place would be Adriana)"

Another Reddit user pointed out: "The graphic does note "Season 40". Can't blame you for missing it though." Despite the confusion, many fans were loving the Jeopardy! post.

In the Instagram comments, one person said: "Yayy!! Can't wait for the new season :)." Another added: "Love these stats!" while a third fan gushed: "40 was a good one. Here’s to 41!"
