DREW Bledsoe took a brutal shot at Tony Romo while comparing him to Tom Brady.

Bledsoe, 52, had his starting spot taken by both Brady and Romo during his career.

The former Super Bowl champion was New England’s starting quarterback before being succeeded by Brady.

He then joined the Buffalo Bills and later the Dallas Cowboys , where Romo took his spot.

Appearing on Sunday NFL Countdown over the weekend, Bledsoe claimed that Romo changed after becoming a starter, in a way that Brady didn’t.

“If you’re watching this Romo, you know this is true,” Bledsoe began.

“The minute he became the starter, he became pretty big in his own mind.

“He was no longer the curious and inquisitive guy. That was the difference between him and (Tom Brady).

“Tommy became the starter, he still was asking all the questions, where all of a sudden Romo was the guy that had all the answers.”

Romo, now 44, would remain with the Cowboys until retiring after the 2016 season.

Following an injury suffered by Romo that year, Dak Prescott was named the Cowboys’ starting QB, a position he still holds to this day.

Romo, meanwhile, moved into the world of broadcasting.

Following his playing retirement, he was hired by CBS Sports as their lead analyst.

He has since held the position alongside play-by-play announcer Jim Nantz.

Brady, meanwhile, was hired by Fox ahead of the 2024 season.

He made his color analyst debut during last night’s game between the Cleveland Browns and Dallas Cowboys.

The former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers superstar was awkwardly left hanging just moments into his first broadcast.

Brady, 47, was in the booth alongside Kevin Burkhardt and Mike Pereira.

After being introduced by Burkhardt, Brady attempted to fist bump rules analyst Pereira.

In an excruciating moment, however, Pereira turned back to his monitor, inadvertently ignoring Brady’s gesture.

“Don’t leave me hanging,” Brady begged, attempting to style out the moment.

Pereira did finally bump him back, but by that point it was too late – with the clip going viral.
