‘They have a problem’ First Take analyst Dan Orlovsky believes NFL team should consider QB change after Week 1 ‘crisis’

ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky has sent out a stark warning to the Cleveland Browns.

The former NFL quarterback believes Deshaun Watson ‘s days as the starter could be numbered after a disastrous Week 1 showing.

Watson completed just 24 of 45 pass attempts as the Browns lost to the Dallas Cowboys 33-17.

He threw two interceptions and was sacked 6 times, adding just 169 yards and a touchdown through the air.

Orlovsky joined First Take on Monday alongside Stephen A. Smith and Shannon Sharpe to discuss the Browns’ heavy opening-day loss.

And he went straight on the offensive, calling out Watson for his performance at Huntington Bank Field.

Orlovsky admitted he believed before the contest that “Cleveland would win with this game.”

“Watching this game, I’m going ‘They have a problem’,” the ESPN analyst admitted.

“I would be thinking long and hard about playing [backup] Jameis Winston in the very near future.

“The Browns are in crisis at that position.”

Host Molly Qerim added that the Browns have had a “revolving door” at quarterback over recent seasons.

Watson is in his third year of a mammoth $230 million deal , which nets the quarterback the full amount in guaranteed cash.

“I know the money is it what it is,” continued Orlovsky.

“But I would feel way more comfortable with Winston [at quarterback].”

He added that some of Watson’s passes on Sunday missed receivers by “up to six or seven feet.”

With this season’s schedule now revealed, eager NFL fans are looking to secure tickets to their favorite games.

You can start buying tickets for some games on several sites now:

Before purchasing tickets on resale websites check pricing as they are third-party sellers and, importantly, the cost can vary depending on demand. You may pay more than an official ticket, though you can also get good last-minute deals too.

But if you can’t be there in person, don’t worry, there’s still time to set up your stream before the season starts.

You can also keep up to date with the latest NFL coverage right here at The U.S. Sun.

“There ain’t no QB on this planet can play behind that @Browns o-line until they fix it,” argued one fan on X in response to Orlovsky’s take, citing the Brown’s current injury issues at tackle.

“Deshaun was under extreme pressure yesterday. He’ll be back next week,” argued another.

First Take lead analyst Smith went further after Orlovsky’s analysis during Monday’s show.

“I’m not saying they are a horrible team, but [the Browns] might have a horrible quarterback,” Stephen A. declared.

During Sunday’s game, Watson was hit 17 times by the Cowboys ‘ defense — more than any other quarterback over the weekend.

Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski appeared to swipe at his offensive line following the brutal loss.

“[Watson] got hit way too often,” Stefanski said.

“We can’t let that happen to him. We have to protect our quarterback better than that.”

The Browns and Watson will look to find form against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2.
