While the PWHL announced names and logos for their inaugural six teams ahead of season two - Boston Fleet, Minnesota Frost, Montreal Victoire, Ottawa Charge, New York Sirens, and Toronto Sceptres - one aspect that was not released was team jerseys.

"The jersey launch will be sometime either at the end of October, beginning of November," said Amy Scheer, PWHL Senior Vice President of Business Operations.

Last season each of the PWHL's six teams wore generic jerseys with the market name diagonal across the front. This year, those jerseys that will maintain the primary color for clubs, will feature the newly designed jerseys.

The league did not want to release images of the jerseys this week, rather choosing to wait until jerseys are physically available for players and fans.

"Our jerseys are still in production, so we thought the time to reveal them would be a little bit later when we actually have our jerseys in hand," said Scheer. "When we launch what the jerseys look like, you will immediately be able to buy replica jerseys, and you will be able to buy them with player names on them as well."

The league stated they are unlikely to have authentic jerseys available for purchase this season with Scheer stating that "given the compressed timeline, I'm happy that the players will have jerseys to wear for the games." Scheer did state that authentic jerseys should be available for year three.
