Little Nightmares 3: Survive Horror Through Co-Op Gameplay

Little Nightmares 3 is a brand-new addition to the franchise and is being developed by Supermassive Games and is being published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It is set to release in 2025 and is set in a wonderfully designed terrifying world that the fans have grown accustomed to. This addition to the series is innovating horror gameplay by allowing players to play in co-op with another friend or solo with the help of an AI companion. Story & Setting

Little Nightmares 3 follows the journey of two characters Low and Alone as they are stuck in the horrifying world of Nowhere. Trapped within this world, players must traverse through levels of disturbing places. These places are designed to be mysterious, and disturbing, and are sure to haunt the players with the creepy enemy designs. Some of the places will be familiar to the other games in the franchise so that fans can experience the same beloved unsettling environment all over again. Work together with your companion to overcome your childhood fears and find a place out of the terrifying world.

Haunting Gameplay

This game differentiates from the classic formula and allows players to play the entire game in co-op. However, if a friend is not present players can play the game solo with the help of an AI companion. Bandai Namco recently showed a brand-new gameplay video for Little Nightmares 3 captured on a pre-alpha build. The gameplay begins with Low and Alone, two children stuck in the haunting and unsettling city of the Necropolis.

Players will be able to decide whether they want to play as the character of Low or Alone. Each of the characters comes equipped with their equipment and iconic items. Both these characters complement each other well. Low is equipped with a Bow whereas Alone is fitted with a Wrench. The gameplay is designed all around co-op and solving puzzles together. Players will also need to protect themselves from bigger terrifying enemies and fight smaller enemies. As seen in the gameplay trailer, players will need to bring down enemies with the bow of Low while Alone will finish them off with a wrench.

Players will discover and explore new places as they continue on their journey each one more unsettling than the last. Explore places as large as the deserts of Necropolis to claustrophobic, dark, and haunting areas. All of these places are filled with terrifying new rosters of foes which are designed to visualize players’ childhood fears. Little Nightmares 3 also features lore that players must discover about their Ravenmask and Pigtail girl protagonists.
