Are you looking for hair-raising fun this fall? Then visit Ohio’s spooktacular haunted houses. They’re home to goblins, ghosts, and other creatures that will keep you looking over your shoulder. Here are a few haunted houses you don’t want to miss in 2024:

Factory of Terror (4125 Mahoning Road NE, Canton)

Found inside an abandoned 160,000-square-foot aluminum foundry, the Factory of Terror is the world’s longest haunted indoor attraction. It features five full-length attractions, and comes complete with frightening monsters and jaw-dropping special effects to offer an unforgettable night of spooky fun.

The Factory of Terror opens on September 13th.

Cincinnati Fear Fest (1449 Greenbush Cobb Road, Williamsburg)

A favorite among thrill-seeking Ohioans, Cincinnati Fear Fest is one of the scariest haunted attractions in the Buckeye State. The fun includes two haunted houses, scare zones, and a haunted trail where sinister creatures lurk in the shadows. Add a Bar Creep pass to your experience, and gain entry to two bars hidden within the park.

The Cincinnati Fear Fest will run on select days between September 21st and November 2nd.

Hudson Haunted House (2400 Barlow Road, Hudson)

Established in 1972, the Hudson Haunted House is the longest-running haunted attraction in Ohio. You’ll find the hair-raising fun at Oak Grove Park, and every year offers something new to discover. Opening night is on September 27th at 7:30 p.m.

Fortress of Fear Haunted Screampark (12175 State Street, Alliance)

Don’t go alone to Fortress of Fear. It’s one of Ohio’s top-rated haunted houses, and only the brave dare to enter a fallen empire to see what lurks behind the centuries-old doors. Fortress of Fear opens at 7:30 p.m. on September 28th.

Carnage Haunted House (3770 Refugee Road, Columbus)

Offering a realistic horror experience, it’s no wonder that Carnage Haunted House was rated one of “ Ohio’s top five haunted houses” in 2022. It comes to life with detailed sets, special effects, and actors “well-trained in the art of scary.” Opening night is on Friday, September 27th.
