Some dogs are like velcro. They love so hard, they cannot imagine being apart for even a nanosecond. Magnus the Labrador gets it. He won't waste any time away from his mom, even when she's working out because he adores her so much.

The video posted on TikTok gives a glimpse at Magnus's love for his human in a way that all other pups will admire. Take a look at how he "helps" Mom at the gym!

"When you are trying to workout but your dog is extra clingy," the video says as Magnus is shown laying on top of Mom as she lifts a barbells while on a workout bench. In the next frame, he lays on her back while she works her hamstrings through the leg curl machine. And finally, he sits happily in her lap while she exercises her quads.

This little helper is known as a service dog but this is taking things to a whole other level! Magnus has nearly 3 million followers who tune in for his antics with many saying this isn't clingy behavior—it's pure love.

"Not clingy. Just providing an adequate spotter for your workouts," one person shared.

"He's just a mama's boy showing his love. Cherish all the time, take pictures and videos for those special memories," another said.

"He's helping you stay grounded Incase you get too light and start to float away," another added.

Magnus is a dream gym partner who won't let you go through anything alone—not even your workout!

    Labrador Retrievers Are Extremely Empathetic

Magnus is noted as a service dog, so his abilities and need to be near his people are extraordinary and for specific reasons. But his empathy, tolerance, and gentle nature are things Labrador Retrievers share , and those traits are what makes them a great addition to any home.

The American Kennel Club explains, like their Golden Retriever counterpart, Labs are great companion dogs because of their "working" nature. It's in their ancestry to need a job to do to fulfill their genetic needs. Whether they're retrieving things as a service dog or "spotting" Mom at the gym, they want to work. They make great service dogs for that reason, along with the fact they're sociable and easily trainable.

Magnus set the standard for gym etiquette, for sure. But it's his huge heart that makes him stand out above the rest.
