Pop superstar Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce were spotted singing together while attending the U.S. Open Men's Final with teammate Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany , on Sunday (September 9).

A video shared by the U.S. Open's official X account showed Swift and Kelce belting out the lyrics to 'I Believe in a Thing Called Love' by The Darkness as it played at Arthur Ashe Stadium. The couples attended the U.S. Men's Open Final, which saw ATP World No. 1 Jannik Sinner defeat American Taylor Fritz , 6-3, 6-4, 7-5, days after the Chiefs defeated the Baltimore Ravens, 27-20, in the NFL Kickoff Game last Thursday (September 5).

Kelce finished the game with three receptions for 34 yards, tying with fellow tight end Noah Gray for the second-most catches among Chiefs players. Mahomes threw for 291 yards, one touchdown and one interception on 20 of 28 passing.

Swift has attended most of Kelce's games that haven't conflicted with her 'Eras Tour' schedule since they began dating, which included flying from Tokyo after the completion of her concert to Las Vegas for the Chiefs' Super Bowl LVIII victory against the San Francisco 49ers. The couple initially went public with their relationship when she attended his game against the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium last September .

Kelce famously revealed that he attempted to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number when he attended her concert at Arrowhead Stadium prior to their relationship last summer. Swift later said that the three-time Super Bowl champion "very adorably put me on blast" when he acknowledged the situation on his New Heights podcast , which she said "was metal as hell" while being featured as Time Magazine 's 'Person of the Year' in December 2023.

The Chiefs entered the 2024 NFL season coming off their back-to-back Super Bowl victories and their third in five years. Kelce signed an extension that will pay him an average annual salary of $17.125 million during the next two seasons , having previously been set to make $12 million in 2024 and $16.25 during the 2025 season. The 34-year-old currently ranks fourth among NFL tight ends in both career receptions (910) and receiving yards (11,362), as well as sixth in receiving touchdowns (74) in 12th NFL season.
