Rams News: Puka Nacua Set for Knee Evaluation After Injury Against Lions

Puka Nacua is set to undergo testing on his injured knee following a concerning incident during the Los Angeles Rams' recent game against the Detroit Lions. The standout receiver left the field in the second quarter after sustaining the injury. Although he briefly returned for one play, he was soon ruled out for the remainder of the game.

This injury is particularly troubling as it involves the same knee that caused him issues during training camp earlier this summer. After that initial injury, he had seemed to recover fully. The team has not provided an update on his condition, but further evaluations are scheduled for Monday.

“He’s going to have tests this afternoon just to determine what is going on there in his knee,” Ian Rapoport reported. “No firm word yet on his status but obviously same knee as training camp, clearly an issue there, clearly in some pain that he was battling through. Wouldn’t be surprised if he misses some time as he figures out and tries to improve this issue.”
