A few months ago, it was reported that Beth Phoenix had departed WWE, which led to speculation that she would follow her husband, Adam Copeland, to AEW once he recovers from a broken leg. And while it’s far from guaranteed that she even wants to compete again, she has now shared a series of stunning photos on Instagram alongside her former tag partner Natalya, proving she has been hitting the gym hard.

43-year-old Phoenix was considered a top in-ring performer for WWE between 2006 and 2012. During that time, she won the WWE Women’s Championship three times and the Divas Championship once, which led to her being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017. She would then come out of retirement in 2019 and occasionally teamed again with Natalya before joining NXT as a commentator later that year. However, despite being a natural behind the announce desk, she gave up that spot to focus on her family commitments while wrestling a couple of mixed tag team matches alongside Copeland.
