The magical season for the Oakland Ballers continues.

At any level, it's hard to find a team that had more adversity than the Oakland Ballers. In a city that major sports didn't want, without a stadium and without much support outside of Oakland, the Ballers not only survived but they thrived. They were working the day of the opening of their home field, Raimondi Field, on making it ready for fans. The former house of thrills has been replaced by the house of dreams.

Against all odds, the Oakland Ballers did not have the best record for the second half at 31-17; they made it to the playoffs and have a home field advantage. For the season, they have the second-best record in the Pioneer League going into the postseason. The two top teams in each half of the season square off in the playoffs. The Ballers won the second half, and they will play the Yolo High Wheelers from Davis, CA. If they win that best of 3 series, they will play for the title in their first year!

The first game will be at Davis on Tuesday, September 10. The Ballers will host the next 2 games on Thursday, September 12 and Friday, September 13 (if necessary), with tickets on sale now.
