‘Bigoted!’ Fox Hosts Rage at Kamala Harris For Buying Spices From Anti-Trump Store That Brutally Drags GOP For ‘Racism’

Fox News co-hosts raged over Vice President Kamala Harris shopping at an anti-Trump store, accusing the company of being “bigoted against Republicans” because they slam the GOP for “racism” and other things.

Over the weekend, Harris took some time out from her preparations for Tuesday’s debate to shop at a Pittsburgh spice market called Penzeys Spices — which has gotten attention over their explicit anti-Trump and anti-Republican public posture.

On Monday afternoon’s edition of Fox News Channel’s Outnumbered, the show’s co-hosts raged about the Harris campaign photo op, calling it a deliberate insult to Republicans — which one of the hosts said number at “70 percent” of all Americans (they don’t):

EMILY COMPAGNO: That spice shop is known for slamming Republicans. Their website has an entire “About Republicans” page, with a staggering 842 word essay bashing the party.

Part of it, written by the CEO, reads. “Going forward, we would still be glad to have you as customers, but we’re done pretending the Republican Party’s embrace of cruelty, racism, Covid lies, climate change denial and threats to democracy are anything other than the risks they legitimately are.”

Harris, is this — side note — is this the for president that would be president for every American? Because it seems like by shopping there you’re only sending a message you want to be the president for half the country.

HARRIS FAULKNER: So did you Google that to find that that shop, like Google spice and politics and hate Republicans, all in one thing — and it’s got an address, let’s go there to shoot our promo.

Because that’s what that was. That was that was promotional value for her. That wasn’t like a real press opportunity or interview. I’m really, really lost on why she can’t just hold a news conference.

EMILY COMPAGNO: And the irony, Molly, that she’s preaching about divisiveness, the spice shop that specifically puts that on. Yeah, I mean, it’s —

MOLLY HEMONGWAY: Not like this is a new thing. Penzeys has been bigoted against Republicans and really hateful and intolerant for so long for many, many years. So this was an intentional thing going to for her, a safe space to speak against divisiveness while being at one of the most notoriously hateful companies in America!

HARRIS FAULKNER: OOF!

KAYLEIGH MCENANY: Oh yeah, I’m just interested in the business model of this company. According to Fox news.com, they wrote on the website, I’m sad to say you might be happier elsewhere. Speaking to Republicans also FoxNews.com, they labeled Martin Luther King Junior Day Republicans are Racist weekend and lost 40,000 subscribers after this.

Interesting business model, I’ll stick with my Garlic Lawry’s seasoning that I love and put on everything —

HARRIS FAULKNER: Great on a burger. By the way.

GRIFF JENKINS: As an intrepid reporter, I have to confess that Molly has these spices. She was given a gift. You will confess to this, but yet it’s a well known thing. That’s how she knows that’s going back. I mean, choosing a place to go to talk about unity. While the shop calls 70% of Americans cruel, racist threats to democracy is really a bad look. Someone didn’t think that photo op through.

EMILY COMPAGNO: Yeah.

HARRIS FAULKNER: Or they absolutely thought it through. And it’s on purpose and they Google to find it and shoot it there.

EMILY COMPAGNO: Oof, it would just be nice if our vice president would practice what she preached.
