40yrs ago we lived not far from Victoria Ave. At that time it was noted as Avenue . Most of Costa Mesa is called Avenues. Victoria Avenue was one of the main roads that led from Huntingto Beach up over the hill some section to the right the bluffs and beautiful ocean scenery and the Avenue continued intlo Costa Mesa. It was a nice area. Southern Calif parts were truly beautiful and a thriving downtown. I drove that Avenue Moday thru Friday to my and from my job . In fact I got pulled over one morning for speeding runing late to work. We will never return to Calif. It has drastically changed and not for better.
