Pit Bull Interrupting Mom's Work Zoom For 'Siren Time' Is the Biggest Hit With Her Co-workers

Ever since the pandemic, more people than ever are attending work meetings on Zoom, even if they're back in office. It's just a really easy way to get everyone together, and it's a great excuse to wear your pajama bottoms with a nice shirt!

However, an unexpected side-effect of Zoom meetings is all of the unofficial office dogs gained. When you work from home, it's a lot easier for your furry friend to crash the party and quickly become a favorite among your coworkers! That's exactly what happened to a sweet Pit Bull named George, and on Saturday, September 7th, he interrupted the meeting for a very important announcement:

George has taken over for mom at work and all action items from the meeting with @tiffhnelson will now go directly to him. #zoom #remotework #workmeeting #rescuedog #dogmom

George the Siren is an excellent communicator. If he keeps it up, I firmly believe he'll make employee of the month in no time!

George is a rescue, and for as long as he's been able to, he's been joining mom for her Zoom meetings. It started easy: he was just there, probably at her feet. Then he heard something he didn't like or he got bored and he couldn't hold it in any longer! Luckily, all of her coworkers are cool about it, and they really like George, so they let him say his piece before moving on!

This is the kind of thing that is legitimately setting companies apart these days: people don't want to work for a company that doesn't encourage at least a little bit of fun here and there. That's why so many companies are integrating pets into the work place: office dogs, pet meet-and-greets, and even a "family board" with pictures of everybody's fur-babies are simple things that really so make all the difference!

How to Keep Dogs Quiet During Zoom Meetings

Whether you're in a meeting, having an interview, or in class on Zoom, there is nothing worse than your dog picking up and barking. It's embarrassing and many consider it unprofessional - for some, it might even be a dealbreaker.

Lucky, there are some ways to keep your pup happy so you can get your business done:

    1. Make sure to take them on a long walk and give them some food/water before your meeting.
    2. Offer them a quiet enrichment toy, like a stuffed kong or a lick mat.
    3. Put their crate (or them in general) in a separate room) so you won't hear if they do start barking.
    4. If possible, ask someone else to keep them occupied.

You should also take advantage of Zoom's background noise filter feature; it does a pretty good job of eliminating any unexpected barks. Unless you have a George - then you should just let him say what he needs to say!

This dog is so cute. I love it. I love pitbull. I love all dogs. God gave us these dogs from heaven from him to show us what kindness, respect, love, loyalty, and also compassion and mercy, and they show us this every day. If we could be only be like dogs every day and show this to people like the dogs show it to us this would be a fantastic world, and everybody would get along. And dog show a lot of forgiveness they’ve been through a lot, but they still forgive more than what I could say for the Democratic government.

This is truly so sweet and funny at the same time. Dogs are the most loyal thing you could ever love a dog is more loyal to you than what our own government is and that’s sad to say because our government supposed to protect us, but that’s not ever gonna happen, I love dogs unconditionally. I give them love respect, kindness, loyalty they are a full-time commitment and I committed a full-time commitment to them back. They also show mercy and compassion. Don’t do that anymore.
