Chicago, IL – In a coordinated series of armed robberies early Monday, eleven individuals were robbed at gunpoint across the Brighton Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side. The incidents occurred over a span of less than 30 minutes, with each involving two armed individuals who made off with personal belongings before fleeing in a dark-colored SUV.

The first robbery took place around 1:10 a.m. in the 4600 block of South California Avenue. According to Chicago police, a 33-year-old woman and a 17-year-old girl were approached by the gunmen who demanded their valuables. Approximately 20 minutes later, in the 4800 block of South Seeley Avenue, two women, aged 48 and 57, were similarly targeted while on the sidewalk.

Shortly after, around 1:35 a.m., a group of five men and women ranging in age from 21 to 52 were robbed on the 4200 block of South Richmond Street. The gunmen used the same approach, demanding possessions from the group before escaping. Concurrently, a separate incident occurred in the 2500 block of West 46th Street, where a man and woman, aged 42 and 40, were robbed in a driveway.

Chicago police are investigating the cases but have not confirmed whether the robberies are connected. No injuries were reported. As of now, no arrests have been made, and Area 1 detectives are actively working on the investigation.
