Beetlejuice Beetlejuice just hit theaters, charming audiences and grossing $145.4 million worldwide for an impressive opening weekend that saw $110 million of those takings come domestically.

Michael Keaton returns to his iconic 1988 role, with fellow returning cast members Catherine O'Hara and Winona Ryder and newcomers Jenna Ortega, Willem Dafoe, and Monica Bellucci.

This time, the film focuses on Ryder's character of Lydia Deetz, who has made a name for herself as a medium. However, when a tragedy strikes, she must return home to Winter River, and things suddenly go awry when Deetz's daughter, Astrid, accidentally opens the portal to the Afterlife.

Warner Bros has been hot on closing the gap between a film's run in theaters and its release online, and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice may be a new record for them with the pre-order for its digital release already live.

yeah I'll agree with you. not sure how I fully feel about it. still don't know if I liked it or not lol. some parts were pretty pointless like his wife. made really no sense her being in the movie just to get eaten at the end. Just seemed like some pointless parts to the movie. I'd say it seemed more cartoon like than anything
