15-year-old student stabbed at New York high school

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A student was stabbed at McKinley High School in Buffalo, New York Monday afternoon, the third day of the 2024-25 school year.

Buffalo Police say they responded to the scene around 1:10 p.m. Monday. A 15-year-old male student was stabbed by another student inside the school, according to police.

The 15-year-old was transported by ambulance to Oishei Children’s Hospital with serious injuries.

At least two individuals are being questioned. As of 2 p.m., the the school is currently sheltered in place and has been stabilized.
