Hot New York City seafood spot opens new location across the river in prime New Jersey location

Blue Anchor Bar + Kitchen, the latest addition to Jersey City's vibrant Newport neighborhood, is now open. Located at 166 River Drive within The Beach residential building, this new seafood restaurant boasts a prime waterfront location with stunning views of the Hudson River and New York skyline.

With a focus on fresh, locally sourced seafood, the restaurant's menu features lobster rolls, a raw bar, and seasonal offerings, complemented by a selection of wines and craft cocktails. Blue Anchor also serves a weekend brunch.

The restaurant is a collaboration between Chris Kong, Admen Kong, Alan Lau, Johnny Leung, and Kelvin Yiu, known for their successful venture Teppan Territory in Downtown Brooklyn. Ray Kawas of LeFrak Commercial highlights Blue Anchor as a significant addition to Newport's growing food scene, which includes notable spots like Ruth's Chris Steak House and Komegashi Too.
