Pat McAfee Names NFL Team That's 'So Bad'

ESPN analyst Pat McAfee recently spoke about the NFL's Week 1 slate on the "Pat McAfee Show."

McAfee had a couple of guests on air, including Los Angeles Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins and former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick.

After McAfee moved on from his interview segment, he shared a few fan reactions, one of which came from a disgruntled Carolina Panthers fan.

The fan mentioned that he's a massive fan and even has a tattoo of the Panthers logo on his body. He mentioned that his fantasy teams are doing well, but that's not the same story with the Panthers.

As McAfee was reading the fan's quote, he called the Carolina Panthers, "So bad."

"They are so bad," McAfee said.

The Panthers were dominated by the New Orleans Saints in Week 1. They suffered a 47-10 loss, going scoreless in two quarters.

They were overtaken in nearly every major statical category. Carolina had more total yards with 379 to the Panthers' 193, 22 first down conversions to the Panthers' 11, and converted seven third-down attempts compared to Carolina's one.

Carolina walked into the season with a second-year quarterback in Bryce Young. The former Heisman Trophy winner with the Alabama Crimson Tide was selected by the Panthers as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft.

In year one with the Panthers he produced 11 touchdowns, 10 interceptions and 2,877 yards with a 59.8 completion percentage.

Young has received most of the blame for the Panthers' struggles on social media, given Carolina's investment in the signal caller.

In the Panthers' Week 1 loss to New Orleans, Young recorded 161 passing yards with a 43.3 completion percentage, while throwing two interceptions in the contest.
