Netflix Makes Major Aaron Rodgers Announcement

Aaron Rodgers has established himself as one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history, but he has also become one of the more controversial figures in the sport.

He is set to make his 2024 debut on Monday night as his New York Jets are taking on the San Francisco 49ers in Santa Clara, California for their Week 1 battle. However, his return to football isn't the only thing that is making headlines, as Netflix announced they will be releasing a documentary about Rodgers and his journey back from his season-ending Achilles injury last season.

"Aaron Rodgers: Enigma,” which is set to be released on December 17, “will reveal a side of Rodgers that few get to see,” according to a Netflix press release .

In the teaser that they dropped for the documentary, Rodgers discusses how he used prayer to help get through the injury, which came just four snaps into his first season with the Jets.

"I believe in the power of prayer and intention," Rodgers said in the trailer. "And from the first night this happened, hours after that, I was surrounded by a bunch of really special people in my life and we just laid down a lot of prayers."

Being that Rodgers is such an intriguing character off the field, this will certainly be a documentary that catches a lot of eyes. Especially since his recovery process, much like the majority of his off-the-field career, was a spectacle.
