The Lexington-Fayette County Health Department will be spraying for mosquitos across town after a round of increased activity in multiple neighborhoods.

That includes increased activity at Cross Keys, Liberty Road, Rogers Road and Maplewood Drive.

The health department says they’ll be spraying mostly in the 40505 ZIP code area on Thursday, along with parts of 40502, 40509 and 40511.

They’ll continue spraying Friday in the 40503 and 40504 ZIP codes. Spraying will be done from 3 to 6 a.m. both days.

The health department says they spray only when wind speed is less than 10 miles per hour, when the temperature is warmer than 55 degrees and when the weather is clear.
